Roughly 1/3 of food is being wasted, resulting in 8% of all anthropogenic CO2 emmissions. Food systems, including deforestation for agricultural use, accounts for 45% of all anthropogenic CO2 emmissions.
How can we increase awareness amongst businesses and consumers about food waste and the external costs (social and environmental) of our food systems?
